Man United two steps away from unleashing Marcus Rashford with dream swap deal
Marcus Rashford comes into the 2024/25 season with all eyes on him, pressure and responsibility. After a disappointing season for Manchester United, the forward has to answer his critics.
The England international recorded his best season of his career in 2022/23 with 30 goals in 56 appearances across all competitions. Due to a number of reasons on and off the pitch, Rashford failed to follow that up last campaign with just eight goals across 43 appearances.

Doubts over his long-term future have somewhat cooled in recent weeks following strong claims that he could be sold to Paris Saint-Germain. However, another failed Premier League campaign could be the final straw for all parties to call it a day.
So what do United do to give Rashford the tools to replicate his 2022/23 form? Options at centre-forward are now stronger than they have been throughout Ten Hag's tenure after Joshua Zirkzee's arrival but it could be changes behind him that unlock the clinical villain in Rashford.
Another centre-back is expected
