Swap deal, PSG option, £40m 'approach' - Jadon Sancho Man United transfer latest

Jadon Sancho has been reintegrated at Manchester United by Erik ten Hag this summer.

However, the former Borussia Dortmund winger, who returned to Signal Iduna Park on loan in January following a public spat with his United manager, still faces an uncertain future. But will he stay or go?

The clock is ticking for him to pursue a switch elsewhere, while clubs across the Premier League have until August 30 to strike up business and most top-flight divisions in Europe fall into the same direction. A few eyebrows were raised when reports from Germany flagged up Sancho as a potential target for Chelsea this summer. Those claims were subsequently backed up by The Athletic.

Chelsea have money and, seemingly, will spend. The Blues rubber-stamped a transfer for Joao Felix and are said to be willing to make a late approach for Sancho before August 30 comes and goes.

It comes amid a proposed fire sale at Stamford Bridge as key figures upstairs attempt to generate some more cash for their own recruitment drive. Sancho is tipped to cost around £40million.

PSG have long-since been mooted with interest. It has even been claimed Sancho could be used as the bargaining chip to help United sign prime midfield target Manuel Ugarte.

Several options appear to be on the table in that pursuit. Reports from The Independent pinpointed a swap deal to appease both clubs - with Sancho initially moving to Paris on loan.
