Man United transfer news LIVE Manuel Ugarte latest, Jadon Sancho exit, Scott McTominay deal

Manchester United are running out of time to complete deals in the summer transfer window as deadline day looms large.

The end of the bank holiday provided us with plenty of updates for the run-in to the window shutting. First up was the update on Jadon Sancho with the Reds beginning negotiations with Juventus for his exit.

Meanwhile, Scott McTominay remains of interest to Napoli but an agreement on the price tag involved has not been agreed. One sale does look to be in the bag for the Reds this summer though as Hannibal Mejbri looks set for Burnley.

On the incomings front, only Manuel Ugarte is fully expected at Old Trafford. Chelsea's Raheem Sterling is reportedly not ruling out United but his signature does not appear to be a priority at this stage.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has provided the latest on Manuel Ugarte.

"I think that Manuel Ugarte will go to Man Utd because he always wanted United. He agreed personal terms for a lot of days and I think that he will go to United. Man Utd are talking to Napoli to agree the final details of McTominay," he told bettingexpert.com

"The way is McTominay out and Ugarte in. The three clubs, PSG, Man Utd and Napoli are trying to do this linked deal. To get this deal done, McTominay has to solve his problems with United by agreeing exit terms.

"If he agrees to the exit terms, Napoli are ready to get him because they have already agreed a deal with United for about €30.5 million. If McTominay goes to Napoli, then Ugarte will be his replacement in Manchester."

Manchester United's flight back from Brighton was delayed by two hours on Saturday. Their season is yet to take off.
