United made a positive start to the new campaign against Fulham, however, a late loss to the Seagulls and a heavy defeat to Arne Slot's team has cranked up the pressure. Southampton have lost every game in the Premier League they've played this season and United must continue that run on Saturday.

It is claimed in the Sun on Sunday that Galatasaray are looking at alternatives to Casemiro after the Manchester United midfielder signalled his preference to stay at Old Trafford. The Brazilian has been linked with a summer move to the Turkish club but he now looks set to stay at United.

Manchester Evening News' Isaac Seelochan says: Even with the arrival of Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro will still be given some game time just because of the sheer number of competitions United will be involved in. However, the Brazilian's days as a regular starter for Ten Hag's team appear to be over.

If the 32-year-old is happy to play a bit part role then it looks like he will remain at the Reds until next summer. But it seems likely he won't remain a United
