Man United have perfect Jamal Musiala transfer blueprint and secret weapon to help them

Manchester United have entered what Ineos have been marketing as a 'new era'.

With the Glazers still hovering around the club, fans have had to suspend disbelief to get behind the new regime but for the most part, there has been evidence that United are on a different track. Recruitment is where the most major overhaul has been overseen with Ineos taking over the entire operation.

As part of this new vision, MEN Sport understands there are two clear aims when searching for players. Firstly, there is the player's age and whether they have their best playing days ahead of them.

Secondly, it is their situation at their current club. Whether that be finding bargains because they are unwanted i.e. Matthijs de Ligt or if they are heading into the final year of their contracts e.g. Leny Yoro.

One player who appears to tick both of those boxes is Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala. It does not take a genius to work out that United bringing the German wonderkid to the Premier League would be one hell of a coup.

However, there is a secret weapon in the United camp that Musiala himself has admitted could be a factor in convincing him to leave Munich. New signing Joshua Zirkzee grew a close bond with the winger during their time in Bavaria and this has continued to blossom in the time since the Dutchman left the Allianz Arena.
