Man United in line for windfall as Marcus Rashford in club 'shortlist' amid Kylian Mbappe claim

Manchester United will look to make the most of top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur's defeat when they face Luton Town in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are in search of a fourth consecutive win that would see them close the gap to just four points to fifth place Spurs. Ange Postecoglou's side were stunned 2-1 at home by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Paris Saint-Germain are already planning for life after Kylian Mbappe. The World Cup winner informed the club last week of his decision to leave at the end of the season, leading to a whole host of clubs taking an interest in the World Cup winner.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United have been among the Premier League clubs linked with Mbappe. However, Spanish giants Real Madrid are the heavy favourites for his signature.

According to the Times, Marcus Rashford has been added to PSG's 'shortlist' of potential replacements. The 26-year-old is understood to be admired by football adviser Luis Campos.

Losing Mbappe will save the French giants €200million (£171m) a year on the club's wage bill. It will save to build a young team capable of securing Champions League and Campos has been tasked with spending that money to do so.
