Man United favour, key advantage - Where Man City and Arsenal title race could be won and lost

We are into the final couple of weeks of the season and the title race is still on a knife edge, with it looking likely to go down to the final day.

While not mathematically out of it, Liverpool’s drop-off means that the race is now realistically between Manchester City and Arsenal. The Gunners are currently top of the table, one point above City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand.

Both teams are showing no signs of the pressure getting to them. They are responding to the challenge laid before them.

Arsenal moved four points clear at the top of the table with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth in Saturday’s early kick-off, but City responded just a few hours later with a 5-1 home win over Wolves. Erling Haaland marked his return to the starting line-up after injury with four of the side’s five goals.

In the weekend coming up, it will be City’s turn to try and put the pressure on their rivals. They make the journey to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in the early kick-off on Saturday, a win will take them above Arsenal in the table ahead of their clash against Manchester United a day later.

It is a big few weeks for both clubs. But two fixtures stick out as the couple where the Premier League title could be won or lost for either team, here is a closer look at those two key fixtures.
