Manchester City will walk out at the Etihad Stadium for the first time this season as they take on Newcastle United on Saturday night.

It's been a busy start to the campaign for City. They defeated Burnley 3-0 in their opening match at Turf Moor last week and then lifted the UEFA Super Cup after overcoming Sevilla in Athens on Wednesday.

Though they've enjoyed positive results, Pep Guardiola is already feeling the strain on his squad. Kevin De Bruyne is unlikely to play again this year after undergoing surgery, John Stones is sidelined with a muscle injury, Ruben Dias remains a doubt and Bernardo Silva is out through illness. Aymeric Laporte is also the subject of an accepted bid from the Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.

The Blues boss is worried ahead of facing Newcastle and he is right to be with the Magpies coming into the game off the back of a massive 5-1 win over Aston Villa last week.
