Chelsea have reportedly approached Manchester City over a potential move for Raheem Sterling.

City's transfer activity seems to have been intensifying in recent days, with the news that England midfielder Kalvin Phillips is heading to the Etihad after the Blues agreed a fee with Leeds for his transfer.

Then, reports suggested that Gabriel Jesus is edging closer to a transfer to Arsenal and that he has agreed terms with Mikel Arteta's side. And now, Chelsea are said to be confident of signing Sterling after approaching City over his availability.

Meanwhile, former City captain Fernandinho has completed his free transfer to former club Athletico Paranaense, where he has signed a two-year contract.
