Man City 'inform Bernardo Silva of decision' amid Paris Saint-Germain interest and more transfer rumours

Manchester City have told Bernardo Silva they have no intention of selling him this summer despite talks with Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.

Silva has made no secret of his desire to explore a move away from the Etihad, with City fending off interest for multiple summers. Barcelona were keen on the midfielder last summer and had been linked again, although their financial concerns make a return unlikely.

The 28-year-old has an offer on the table from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, but it is PSG who seem the most likely destination. And 90min reports that the French side have informed City they would be happy to meet their £75million valuation, but a decision has already been made.

City have informed Silva they intend to keep him on board for next season, with Pep Guardiola adamant on not losing another first-team player, following the departure of Ilkay Gundogan and the likely exit of Riyad Mahrez.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail reports that Bayern Munich have allocated two high-level officials to try and lure Kyle Walker to Germany. Herbert Hainer and Michael Diederich, president and chief financial officer respectively, have been tasked with the deal while two other chiefs focus on Harry Kane.

Walker is open to speaking with the serial Bundesliga winners over a potential move, having grown frustrated at being dropped for certain big games - namely the Champions League final. The 33-year-old has been offered a new contract by City, although it is shorter than the one on the table in Bavaria.
