Malik Tillman to face Rangers as PSV make late Champions League squad changes with 3 transfer recruits drafted in

Ex-Rangers loanee Malik Tillman is in line to make his PSV Eindhoven debut against former club Rangers at Ibrox in the crucial Champions League playoff first leg.

The USA International was a huge hit at the Light Blues season until a hamstring injury picked up in the Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic ended his season and his loan spell, when he return to Bayern Munich - who cancelled his loan to buy option to facilitate another deal. Tillman opted for a move to the Eredivise side - and has now been named as a last minute addition into PSV's Champions League squad.

The 21-year-old - who has a £12million purchase option in his Eindhoven contract - has been sidelined through injury and was a major doubt for the Euro squad having failed to make an appearance for the Dutch heavyweights. However, both Rangers and PSV have until midnight before the game to shake up their squads and Tillman is now in line to face the Scottish Premiership outfit. Tillman is not the only new addition added to the list after a busy transfer window for PSV. £10million recruit Jerdy Schouten is in having missed the clashes with Sturm Graz, while Barcelona loanee Sergino Dest is also in line to make his debut.

The US international has made an appearance for the U23 PSV side as he ramps up his return to full fitness. Tillman helped Rangers reached the group stage at the expense of PSV last term. Now he will be looking to turn double agent and end Michael Beale's hopes of facing Europe's elite sides.
