MAFS UK first-look clip shows Nathan apologise to Lacey as newlyweds take next step

In the upcoming episode of E4's Married at First Sight UK, newlyweds Nathan and Lacey embark on their honeymoon.

The couple, who met for the first time at the altar, were seen tying the knot in Tuesday's (September 17) episode.

During the wedding reception, Lacey revealed to Nathan that she doesn't drive due to losing friends in a car accident and having been involved in one herself.

However, Nathan's response left her feeling let down as he quickly changed the subject rather than showing empathy towards her revelation.

As they spend time together in The Gambia during Wednesday's (September 18) episode , Lacey takes the opportunity to address this with Nathan, reports OK!.

Speaking to the camera, Lacey says: "I had the best date with Nathan but I do feel like I need to speak to him about a few things that bothered me. I do need somebody who is emotional intelligent."

She then confronts her husband, saying: "So, I don't know if you was aware but when I was opening up to you I just felt your reaction was a bit cold. I felt like you was trying to shut me down but I was trying to ope up."

Nathan responds: 'It's easy for me to get a bit distracted. I don't want to blame my ADHD but whether I was just not in the right head frame but I just daydream. I apologise and I'll switch on next time you mention anything deep for you."

"I'm open to hearing more about you and hearing what it's like having ADHD because I am your partner and it helps me understand you. So you even saying that is a big step for me."

Nathan later reassures Lacey, "I'm here for you." Viewers are left in suspense over whether Nathan and Lacey's honeymoon will be a success and if their marriage will last beyond the experiment.
