'Path to rebuild' - National media rave about three Man United players in Barnsley romp

Manchester United produced a statement victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup with a 7-0 win over the League One side. Erik ten Hag's men have now scored 11 goals in their last two games after defeating Southampton 3-0 on Saturday.

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garncho and Christian Eriksen all scored braces for United after Antony kicked-off the scoring from the penalty spot in the 35th minute.

The victory is the biggest under Ten Hag and their biggest since they battered Southampton 9-0 in February 2021. A number of positives came from the night at Old Trafford with confidence flowing throughout the team.
