M62 'multi-vehicle' crash causing long queues - latest updates
A smash involving a number of vehicles on the M62 is causing long queues on the M62 near Rochdale. A 'multi-vehicle' smash has led to delays for drivers this evening (Thursday).
Two lanes on westbound stretch near junction 20 have been closed. Emergency services are on the scene.
Drivers are being advised to allow for extra time for their journeys. Delays are estimated to be up to around 30 minutes.
A tweet from Highways North West read: "2 of (3) lanes are closed on the #M62 westbound within J20 near #Rochdale following a multiple vehicle collision. All emergency services and #TrafficOfficers are working at the scene. Please allow extra time for your journey as there are delays of 30 minutes on the approach."
