Overturned lorry causes long queues on the M4
A vehicle which had overturned on the M4 and caused long queues for some drivers has been safely removed. Traffic Wales confirmed on Tuesday morning that a lorry had overturned on the M4 westbound between J48 in Hendy and J49 at Pont Abraham in Carmarthenshire.
Lane one was closed, with motorists are advised to pass with care. On Twitter, Dyfed-Powys Police also issued motorist with the same warning. A spokesperson for the police force tweeted: "If possible, please avoid the area and find an alternative route or allow extra time for your journey."
By Tuesday afternoon however, Traffic Wales South confirmed that the vehicle had been safely removed from the road and that lane one had reopened.
