M62 LIVE with long traffic delays amid multiple crashes - updates

Drivers are facing long delays and slow traffic on stretches of the M62 motorway this morning amid multiple crashes.

Traffic was held on eastbound side of the motorway from junction 21 for Milnrow to junction 22 for Rishworth Moor after an accident this morning. The crash is now clear, though delays remain.

One lane was also shut off on the westbound side of the motorway from junction 24 for Ainley Top to junction 23 for Huddersfield following another accident.

Two lanes are now closed on the eastbound side of the M62 from junction 11 for Birchwood to junction 12 for the Eccles Interchange. Traffic is slow up to the closure, with queues building.
