M62 LIVE: Huge 90 MINUTE-long delays on motorway amid 'multi-vehicle' crash - updates
There are long delays of more than an hour on a stretch of the M62 this morning.
Two lanes have been shut off on the eastbound side of the motorway near Warrington.
Lanes three and four are closed off between junction eight for Burtonwood and junction nine for Warrington.
According to National Highways, there has been a 'multi-vehicle collision' with emergency crews working on the scene.

Delays are currently over an hour with long queues building up to the closure.
In a post on X, National Highways said: "*Delays have now exceeded 60 minutes* Lanes 3 and 4 (of 4) are closed on the #M62 eastbound between J8 (#Burtonwood) and J9 (#Warrington) due to a multi-vehicle collision.
"Emergency services are working on scene. Please allow plenty journey time if possible."
