Dragons v Ospreys LIVE: Kick-off time, TV channel and score updates

The Dragons play host to Ospreys this evening in a Welsh derby at Rodney Parade (5.30pm).

Tonight’s game comes amid the backdrop of the Welsh Rugby Union’s decision to reduce the number of Welsh clubs to three at the earliest opportunity.

The clash in Newport will see Wales skipper Jac Morgan make his first appearance of the season, with the Lion named among the Ospreys’ replacements.

Lining up the home team for the first time is Thomas Young, who joined the club from regional rivals Cardiff over the summer.

Dragons’ Filo Tiatia will miss the clash, with the head coach flying home to New Zealand for personal reasons.

Rio Dyer misses out, with injury keeping the Wales star on the sidelines.

“Ospreys will be a tough side, and they will come to us and challenge us,” said defence coach Dale MacLeod, who will be leading the side in Tiatia’s absence.

“They will be physical, they will be tough, and they will stay in the fight for 80 minutes.

“We’ve got to be at our very best to beat them. That is all we are focused on.”

Dragons and Ospreys head into this one in 15th and 13th place in the URC table respectively. Tonight's game is being shown live on Premier Sports.
