M62 LIVE updates as lanes closed and long queues after crash
Motorists have been warned to expect delays as two lanes are closed on a stretch of the M62.
A rush-hour warning has been issued on Wednesday morning as a result.
Traffic reports state there are currently 'long delays' on approach to the scene of a collision, with emergency services believed to be attending.
Two lanes are closed due to the accident on an eastbound section of the M62, from junction 11 for the A574 Birchwood Way - Birchwood - to junction 12 for the M60 at Eccles Interchange.
Five miles of congestion is being reported, with a 30 minute wait to pass the scene.

All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M62 Eastbound from J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) to J12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange).
Traffic has been held to get the vehicle off the carriageway.
