Drivers are facing delays in both directions of the M60 approaching the scene.

Long queues are also beginning to form on the M62 eastbound, between junctions 11 for Birchwood and 12 for the Eccles Interchange.

Inrix reports that the lane closure is due to a broken down vehicle.

Traffic cameras appear to show a spillage on the road, with a clear-up operation taking place.
