M60 crash LIVE updates as queues build and two lanes closed after crash
Queues are building on the M60 ahead of rush hour following a crash in Tameside. Two lanes are currently closed on the M60 clockwise near to junction 24 at Denton Island.
The closure is just after the junction on the clockwise side, according to the Inrix traffic monitoring system. Drivers are facing delays approaching the scene.
An update from Inrix said: "Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to accident on M60 clockwise after J24 A57 (Denton Island)." Data from Google shows traffic is tailing back past junction 23 at Ashton-under-Lyne.
Queues are snaking back to the Daisy Nook area, towards junction 22 at Oldham. It's not yet known how long the lane closures will be in place.
