M6 LIVE traffic updates: Long delays on stretch of motorway amid crash

There are long delays on a stretch of the M6 this morning after a crash.

Two lanes have been closed off on the northbound side of the motorway at junction 20 for the M56. According to National Highways, there are currently delays of around 45 minutes up to the closure.

Long queues are building with drivers urged to 'allow extra time' for their journeys. In a post on X, National Highways said: "The #M6 in #Cheshire has 2 lanes closed northbound within J20 prior to the #M56 eastbound due to a collision.
