LIVE: Long delays on M60 after crash causes major blockage - latest updates

There are long queues on the M60 this morning which has been "partially blocked" after a crash. It has happened on the clockwise stretch between junction 24, Denton Island, and junction 25 for Brinnington.

The queues are reported to stretch back onto the Denton Rock roundabout and the M67.

Normal driving conditions are now being reported in the area

According to the traffic service Inrix the road has now been cleared and the situation is easing

It is difficult to fully determine the length of the current queues as all the Highways England traffic cameras in the area have been switched off from public view as they "are in operational use."

The AA's live traffic service is still reporting delays both on the Denton roundabout and on the stretch of the M60 heading from Ashton to Stockport.

The average speed is currently just 15mph
