M6 closed LIVE updates as air ambulance lands after lorry overturns
Part of the M6 has been closed in both directions following a serious crash. A lorry has overturned after hitting the central reservation in Lancashire.
The road is fully closed between junctions 33 near Lancaster and 32 near Preston. An air ambulance has landed at the scene.
Police, paramedics and the fire service are also in attendance. Drivers are being urged to avoid the area this afternoon (November 6).

A National Highways spokesperson said: "The M6 in Lancashire is closed in both directions between J33 near Lancaster and J32 near Preston following a serious collision involving a heavy goods vehicle that has collided with the central reservation and has subsequently overturned, coming to rest on its side, on the opposite carriageway. All emergency services are in attendance, including the air ambulance."

There are still very long delays, but they are easing slightly back down to 90 minutes.
There are now delays of two hours on the M6 southbound between junctions J35 and J33.
Drivers are currently facing delays of one hour 30 minutes on the M6 southbound between junctions J34 and J33, according to National Highways.
National Highways is warning drivers to expect 'delays of at least 60 minutes' on the M6 southbound between junctions 35 and 33.
There are delays of at least 30 minutes on the M6 northbound between junctions 31A and 32.
Drivers are being warned to expect long delays approaching the scene.
