M4 live updates as multiple incidents cause disruption

A number of incidents are causing disruption on the M4. Lane two of the M4 eastbound from junction 43 Llandarcy to junction 42 Earlswood is currently shut due to flooding.

Traffic Wales is asking people to allow additional time for travel in the area. Cameras in the area show there is some congestion in the area as well as on other parts of the M4. The AA is reporting severe delays of 16 minutes between junctions 48 and 43 while there is also queuing traffic around junction.

There is also queueing traffic due to an accident now on the hard shoulder on the M4 westbound from junction 35 A473 (Pencoed) to junction 36 A4061 (Bridgend / Sarn Service Area).
