M4 delays at Prince of Wales Bridge one of several incidents on motorway - live updates

There are long delays on several parts of the M4 in Wales including at the Prince of Wales Bridge. Emergency repairs are taking place at the bridge eastbound from junction 23 for the M48 to junction 22 for the M49.

Other incidents causing traffic on the M4 include a broken-down vehicle on the westbound carriageway at the exit for Cardiff West and services.

A crash on the M4 between junction 42, for Swansea east and Briton Ferry, and junction 43 at Llandarcy has also caused 30-minute delays.
