Live updates as system failure causes disruption at Cardiff Central station
There are disruptions on Friday afternoon, September 5, for some rail services from Cardiff Central railway station. It's due to a signalling system fault on the line in Llanishen which is causing delays and some cancellations.
Services affected are between Barry Island and Bargoed and Rhymney, Penarth and Cardiff Central and Caerphilly, and also between Bridgend and Rhymney. Anyone expecting to get those services should check their train is still operating.
According to National Rail those services could be delayed or might be cancelled. Disruption is expected until at least 7pm this evening.
