M4 crash live updates as drivers urged to avoid scene of 'serious' collision

A section of the M4 has been closed due to a "serious" collision. South Wales Police said a slip road on the eastbound carriageway at Baglan had been closed.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area. A spokesperson said: "We are at the scene of a serious collision on the M4 at junction 41, Baglan, eastbound off the slip road.

"The slip road is currently closed and it is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
