M6 crash LIVE traffic updates as drivers stuck in miles of queues after two incidents
Drivers are facing long delays approaching Greater Manchester on the M6 this morning. Highways officers are at the scene of a crash on the northbound motorway between junctions 18 and 19, near Knutsford.
Three lanes of traffic are currently closed following the crash. National Highways says there is a fuel spillage on the road that needs to be cleared up, with delays of around an hour this morning (December 2).
Meanwhile, traffic has been stopped on the M6 southbound near Warrington following a breakdown. There are currently nine miles of queues approaching junction 21A for the M62, affecting drivers heading south from Wigan.
