M4 crash involving five vehicles blocks lanes - live updates

Two lanes have been closed after a crash reportedly involving five vehicles on the M4. The incident happened at around 9am on Wednesday, February 21.

There is queuing traffic after the crash on the westbound carriageway from J38 A48 (Margam) to J40 A4107 Tanygroes Street (Port Talbot / Taibach).

Lanes one and two (of two) are blocked with traffic using the hard shoulder. Traffic monitoring system INRIX is reporting five vehicles are involved.
