'Loud bang heard' as police investigate 'disturbance' - latest updates from cordon at block of flats
A cordon is in place on a street in Denton this afternoon following reports of a 'disturbance'.
Pictures show police tape in place around multiple flats on Yew Tree Road. Detectives are on the scene, as well as multiple police officers.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to the scene just after 9.30am this morning to 'reports of a disturbance'.

One person told the Manchester Evening News they were woken up by a 'loud bang' on the street in the early hours of this morning, but these reports are unconfirmed.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Shortly after 9:30 am this morning (Saturday 18 March) Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a disturbance at Yew Tree Road, Denton. A scene remains in place whilst officers are carrying out enquiries. "
