Sunderland were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw away to Charlton Athletic in League One on Saturday afternoon, suffering a blow to their promotion chances.

With a 6.7 overall rating given, Matete was ranked as Sunderland’s third-worst player.

The central midfielder lost out on five of his duels and also failed to record a single shot on target, dribble, clearance or interception. In addition, he gave away possession no fewer than 16 times and committed two fouls.

Evans ranked as the second-worst performer for the Wearside club with a 6.6 rating.

The captain was unsuccessful in all four of his duels and never managed a shot, dribble, tackle or key pass, losing the ball 10 times in total.

On his return from injury, Broadhead did not have the impact that he would have wanted, and he was given a lowly 6.5 rating.

The Everton loanee lost six duels against the Addicks and failed to register a shot on target, successful dribble or key pass, losing possession 12 times.
