Live updates as traffic stopped on M4 following accident

Traffic has been stopped and is at a standstill on part of the M4. The hold-up near Swansea is due to a traffic incident, according to traffic website Inrix which is reporting that all traffic is being temporarily held between Swansea and Llanelli.

The incident was first reported at 9.16pm and vehicles are being temporarily held on the westbound carriageway between junctions 47 and 48. This is the exit from Swansea West Services down to the exit to Hendy/Llanelli.
