Live updates as armed police incident closes road

Police say they are at the scene of a serious incident on Blair Way, Aberavon, on Monday morning (June 17).

There is a high police presence in the area, including armed police, and the public are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. It has also been reported that the air ambulance landed near the scene.

A statement from South Wales Police says: "Delays are expected in the area."
