LIVE updates from Manchester fan zone as England face Slovakia in Euro 2024 round of 16
England fans are flocking to Manchester city centre this evening for the Three Lions' Euro 2024 match against Slovakia. Gareth Southgate's side will face Slovakia in their first knockout match of the tournament.
The match will kick off at 5pm at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, the only venue England have won at so far in the tournament.
Bars and fan zones are filling up across Manchester this afternoon before the action gets underway. Escape to Freight Island, at Mayfield near Piccadilly station, is one of Greater Manchester's biggest fan zones for Euro 2024.
Hundreds of supporters are expected to pack out the food hall to cheer the Three Lions on in their first final-16 clash, with hopes they can make it through to face Switzerland in the quarter-final.
