LIVE: All traffic STOPPED on M60 with motorway shut both ways after police incident - latest updates

All traffic has been stopped on the M60 this evening with the motorway shut in both directions following a police incident.

Emergency services are in attendance between J10 for Trafford Park and J9 for Urmston, with police and Highways Officers closing the carriageway at rush hour.

There are currently delays of at least 45 minutes which are growing amid the ongoing incident. Diversion routes are in place as a result of the closure.
