LIVE: Police close off busy road after person hurt in crash - latest updates
A busy road in Stockport is closed off this afternoon after a crash.
Brinnington Road in Bredbury is currently shut off by police. The road is closed from Truro Avenue to Middlesex Road, according to traffic alert service Inrix.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers are on the scene responding to a two-car crash. One person has been left injured, though their injuries are not believed to be serious at this stage.

Traffic is being diverted away from the area, with a number of bus routes also on diversion. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Stagecoach said: "Routes 322/327. Due to a RTC on Brinnington Rd services are unable to service Brinnington and are diverted via Carrington Rd, Stockport Rd West and Ashton Rd direct. (both ways)."
