Tyson Fury gives Oleksandr Usyk rematch update after bar footage emerges

Tyson Fury has vowed to defeat Oleksandr Usyk and reclaim his WBC title - insisting "the path to redemption is all mine".

The 35-year-old, who hails from Wythenshawe, suffered a split defeat to the Ukrainian in last month's title fight in Saudi Arabia. Victory saw Usyk become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

Fury, though, has vowed to win back his WBC title - and the WBA, IBF and WBO belts - from Usyk in the duo's rematch on December 21.

"Listen up! I’ve conquered everything in boxing – titles, records, the lot. But I’ve never had to come back from a loss," wrote Fury on Instagram on Thursday. "On December 21st in Riyadh, in the heart of the kingdom, the king will reclaim his throne and become undisputed. Usyk, I’m coming for you! Get ready for the Gypsy King!

"The path to redemption is all mine. I know what I have to do, I saw my shortcomings and best believe I am inevitable."

Fury's return to training comes just days after he was pictured being escorted out of a bar in Morecambe. Footage, shared by the Sun, appeared to show The Gypsy King being encouraged to leave the bar by two security staff, who then helped him to the door.

The bouncers led the boxer outside, where he then reportedly collapsed onto the ground and seemingly smacked his head against a nearby lamppost. A source told The Sun: "He had a couple too many and wasn't feeling too well either."
