LIVE Multiple roads closed as police respond to serious crash - latest updates
A number of road closures are in place in Salford this afternoon (November 20) as police respond to a serious crash.
According to Greater Manchester Police, the incident occurred on Albion Way. The road has been cordoned off.
Closures are also in place on Regent Road and Liverpool Street. Drivers have been urged to avoid the area as officers work on the scene.

A post on the GMP Salford Facebook page at 1.35pm said: "#INCIDENT | We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on Albion Way. The are road closures on Albion Way, Regent Road and Liverpool Road.
"Please avoid these areas and use alternative routes. Thank you for your cooperation."

North West Ambulance Service has confirmed it attended the incident earlier this afternoon.
This is the latest image from the scene.
Police are in attendance on Albion Way and a forensic tent has been erected.
Google data shows how queues are building up on roads in Salford while Albion Way is closed, inlcuding the M602, Regent Road and Trinity Way.
The air ambulance has reportedly landed near to the scene of the crash.

The crash has happened on Albion Way, with road closures also in place on surrounding roads.
