Storm Darragh live - football postponements, Man Utd and Man City latest as Merseyside Derby off

Storm Darragh has caused a number of postponements across the footballing calendar this weekend, with no less than five matches across the Premier League and EFL postponed so far.

Everton's clash with Liverpool in the Merseyside derby became the latest match to the called off due to adverse weather conditions. The match, due to kick-off live on TNT Sports at 12.30pm, will now not go ahead concerns after Storm Darragh battered the west coast of England and Wales overnight and into Saturday morning.

Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle were scheduled to be in action against Oxford United in a relegation six-pointer in the Championship, but that game has been postponed. The same can be about Cardiff City's clash with Watford, which has also fell foul to Darragh, with issues expected for most of the weekend.

Bristol Rovers vs Bolton Wanderers is off in League One, while Newport County vs Carlisle United has been postponed in League Two.

Manchester United are set to host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday at 5:30pm, and although there has been concern about whether the game will go ahead, it's still ON right now. Manchester City travel down to Crystal Palace at 3pm on Saturday and that is set to be played as planned.
