Huge plumes of black smoke can be seen over Wythenshawe this morning after a suspected fire at an industrial estate.

Witnesses reported hearing 'explosions' at around 8:30am on Sunday morning (February 23) before seeing smoke billowing from the property, which is understood to be on Roundthorn Industrial Estate.

Pictures show dramatic scenes as large plumes fill the sky over the estate, which is near Wythenshawe Hospital.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) has been contacted for more information.
