Greater Manchester is set to face strong winds throughout Sunday as weather bosses warn of 'disruption' across the region.
A yellow weather warning is in place from 6am to 6pm on Sunday (February 23), with people told to expect disruption to travel and some power outages.
The Met Office has issued the warning across the west of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and parts of the North East, with winds expected to peak in the late morning or early afternoon.
Gusts are expected to reach 50-60mph in most areas, but could peak at as high as 70mph in exposed spots along Irish Sea coastlines, Scottish Islands, and other areas of high ground further inland, the weather agency said.
The strong winds are also expected to bring heavy rain for much of the afternoon, bringing 'very poor weather conditions'.
