LIVE Large police cordon in place on estate as emergency services rush to scene - latest updates
Emergency services are at the scene of an incident in Stockport this afternoon (April 26).
A cordon is in place on the Bridgehall estate, near Adswood. The junction of Baguley Crescent, Chelford Grove and Daresbury Close has been taped off.
Police and paramedics are at the scene. The nature of the incident is not yet clear.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area for the time-being.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said:
Shortly before 3pm this afternoon (Saturday 26 April) we were called to reports of concern for welfare of a man on Baguley Crescent.
Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital for further treatment.
A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
