LIVE: Large cordon in place as man on roof of church throws tiles and shouts at police - latest updates
A large police cordon is in place in Bolton this afternoon following reports of a man on a roof.
Emergency services were scrambled to Cannon Street in Daubhill following calls for concern for the welfare of a man at around 11.45am on Tuesday (March 18).
Pictures show fire crews and police cars blocking the road as officers work to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for a full comment.
