LIVE: Hour-long delays on stretch of M62 after crash - latest updates
There are delays of around an hour on a stretch of the M62 this afternoon after a crash.
Two lanes have been shut off on the eastbound side of the motorway from junction 22 for Saddleworth to junction 23 for Huddersfield. There was also an earlier crash in the same place, National Highways said.
There are long queues up with the closure with 'heavy delays'. Police are on the scene.

A tweet posted by National Highways said: "Lanes 2 and 3 (of 3) remain closed on the #M62 eastbound between J22 (#Saddleworth) and J23 (#Huddersfield) due to a collision. An earlier collision in the same location has now cleared, however there is still heavy delays of 60 minutes of in the area."

According to traffic alert service Inrix, traffic is also slow on the westbound side of the motorway as cars pass the scene.
Two lanes remain shut on the eastbound side.
