LIVE: Fire crews and forensics on scene after blaze tears through home - latest updates
Emergency crews are on the scene of a house fire in south Manchester.
The blaze broke out at a home on Ellesmere Road South in Chorlton. It has not yet been confirmed what time the fire happened, but emergency services remain on the scene this morning (Friday).
A cordon is in place on a stretch of the street. Firefighters and police are on the scene.

Forensic officers have also been spotted carrying out investigation work. The fire appears to have spread through the whole house, with the front of the property left badly damaged.
It has not yet been confirmed whether anyone was injured. Both the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for details.

Crime scene investigators in white suits have been seen going in and out of the house.
