Leicester City predicted XI vs Arsenal - Iheanacho rewarded as Rodgers faces Maddison decision

Leicester City are back in action on Sunday, just three days after coming out 2-0 winners in their Europa Conference League fixture against Rennes.

Goals from Marc Albrighton and Kelechi Iheanacho saw City take an advantage into next week’s second leg as Brendan Rodgers ’ men look to make it to the final eight of the competition.

But, before attention can turn to that trip to France, City have a tough Premier League game to overcome.

They travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal on Sunday (4.30pm kick-off) as both teams look to continue their good run of form.

While City have won their last four in all competitions, the Gunners have come out victorious in their last four Premier League matches.

After a good result and performance against Rennes, Rodgers may be reluctant to make too many changes to a side that is beginning to settle after so many injury set-backs this season.

He is expected to line up alongside Daniel Amartey and Caglar Soyuncu in the middle of defence and Luke Thomas at left-back, with all three playing in the defence that has kept three clean sheets in the last three matches.

A midfield three of Wilfred Ndidi, Youri Tielemans and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall should keep their places in the middle of the park.

Both Marc Albrighton and Harvey Barnes impressed against Rennes, with the former being awarded with a goal and an assist, and could provide support for the lone frontman.

It does, however, mean that there will be no place for James Maddison
