Youri Tielemans opens up on Leicester City future as Arsenal man reveals rejection

Jamie Vardy could be back in training before the end of the international break as he looks to make his second comeback of the new year. The City striker made his way back from a hamstring injury earlier this month, coming on as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 win over Burnley.

He made his first start of the new year in the 1-0 win over Leeds United just a few days later. However, a knee injury in that game saw the striker have to watch from the sidelines again. But it seems that there is not too longer to wait for the City talisman to return.

Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans has said that he is not worried about the speculation over his future amid links with a move away from the King Power Stadium.

The Belgian has just over one year remaining on his current deal with the club and is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract despite being in talks for over a year. Some reports suggested that the midfielder had turned down a new contract, but that has been denied by City boss Brendan Rodgers .

Tielemans is due to wear the captain’s armband for Belgium on Saturday as they take on Ireland in Dublin in an international friendly. Ahead of that game, he was again questioned about his future.
