Leicester City kit release, Youri Tielemans to Arsenal, Domenico Berardi – questions answered

The transfer window is officially open and so Leicester City's potential activity over the next couple of months is the big talking point right now. On our latest fan question-and-answer session, on the agenda was Youri Tielemans' future as Arsenal linger, why City looked past James Tarkowski with the defender set for Everton, and whether Domenico Berardi or Charles De Ketelaere could be the man signed for the right-wing spot.

But transfers were not the only topic of discussion, and there were also questions regarding City's new kit, the King Power Stadium expansion plans, the youngsters who could step up, Brendan Rodgers' future, set-piece defending, and more. You can find all of our answers below.

A: With the City kit, it seems to be a supply chain issue from what I've heard, hence the impact on plenty of clubs. But I was told City's new home shirt is due to be unveiled in the middle of June, so I can't imagine it is far away now. It would then likely go on sale in July.

It’s already on the cards and it seems at some point in the near future that legislation will come in that bans betting and gambling sponsors on shirts. I suspect FBS would fall into that bracket as an online trading company. But I imagine, given the prominence of betting companies on shirts, that clubs would be given a few years for deals to end before having to find new sponsors.

A: I have a bit of sympathy for the council and the planning committee. Perhaps not if it was just the new stand they had to consider, but with the arena, hotel, residential block, and more, I can't think of a project bigger than this in Leicester. And as yet, the hold-up has not ruled out a 2024 opening, but they'd probably need a green light soon, and to get started on
