Lee Grant makes Manchester United statement confirming departure

Manchester United goalkeeper Lee Grant has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 39.

Grant joined United three years ago from Stoke for £1.5million to occupy a back-up role at the club, where he made two competitive appearances in four seasons.
